Information may be provided directly to us through our website, Facebook or Instagram lead forms, email, telephone, messaging services or during an onsite quotation.

We use your personal information to respond to enquiries, arrange and provide quotations, schedule window cleaning and other services, communicate with you about your service, send invoices and service-related reminders, maintain accurate business and accounting records, process payments where requested, and comply with our legal and tax obligations.
We will not use the information supplied when requesting a quotation to send unrelated marketing communications unless you have separately agreed to receive them.

Services We Use
We use trusted third-party services to help operate the business.
FreeAgent is used for accounting and invoicing.
Google services, including Google Calendar, are used to manage work schedules and appointments.
GoCardless may be used to collect payments where a customer chooses to set up payment through GoCardless.
Meta Platforms, including Facebook and Instagram, may process information when you submit an enquiry through one of our advertisements or lead forms.
Wix provides our website and may process information submitted through our website.
These providers process information in accordance with their own privacy and data-protection obligations. Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this occurs, appropriate data-protection safeguards are used as required by applicable law.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to HM Revenue & Customs or other authorities, or to professional advisers where reasonably necessary.
We do not sell your personal information.
Payments
If you choose to use GoCardless, payment information required to establish and operate your Direct Debit is handled through GoCardless.
Swift Window Cleaning does not need to store your full bank-account credentials within our normal customer records solely for the purpose of operating the GoCardless payment service.
How Long We Keep Your Information
Information relating to an enquiry that does not become a customer will normally be retained for no longer than 12 months, unless there is a legitimate reason to retain it for longer.
Customer, invoicing and financial records may be retained for the period required to meet our accounting, tax and legal obligations. Certain business records may therefore be retained for at least five years after the relevant Self Assessment filing deadline.
Other customer information will only be retained for as long as it is reasonably necessary for providing our services, administering the customer relationship or dealing with any subsequent queries or disputes.
When information is no longer required, we will delete it or securely dispose of it where reasonably practicable.
